Complete inspection and tear down of your rifle. We have the tools, original gauges, and experience to correctly inspect, gauge, and diagnosis any possible ailment your M1 rifle may have. We leave no stone un-turned in this full 36 point inspection. We highly recommend this service for any newly purchased or problematic M1 Garand rifle. Our armorers have over 40 years combined experience working on M1 rifles. We supply a full tech report with the inspection and call you with our findings and recommendations if any. 69.95 Replacing unserviceable parts if needed additional. The Sergeant. All the inspections as in our Private Package above, but we replace all your pins and springs with new USGI or quality Mil Spec. components. Included in this full minor rebuild package: replace firing pin, extractor, extractor spring and plunger, ejector assembly, operating rod spring, clip latch pin and spring, clip ejector spring, hammer spring, hammer pin, trigger pin, and follower pin. This package is often all you need to get that M1 back to perfect working condition. 139.95 The Lieutenant. All the inspections and rebuilding as in our Sergeant Package above, with the addition of supplying and installing a new high quality standard contour match grade barrel. 30-06 only at this time. 449.95 The Major. All the inspections and rebuilding as in our Lieutenant Package above, with the addition of supplying and fitting a brand new standard walnut stock and handguard set. 599.95 The General. All the inspections and rebuilding as in our Major package above, with the addition of full Mil-Spec parkerizing in authentic gray-green finish. 729.95 Additional services offered in above packages: + Match tune your trigger. Add 49.95 + Install both front and rear FULL NM sights capable of both 1/2 elevation and windage adjustments. ( using your supplied standard sight base, cover, and elevation pinion. ) Add 139.95 + Modify front end (gas system) and unitize front handguard to lower band. Add 75.00 Parkerizing. Sorry, due to the limited number of rifles we can parkerize during our current work schedule, we will only offer this service in conjunction with our full rebuild General upgrade package. This may change in the future if we decide to offer parkerizing as a high volume service. Please do not ask us to just parkerize your rifle. Note: On all packages listed above Lieutenant and including same, there will be an additional $35.00 test function-fire and sighting-in fee. This is mandatory and helps us cover our time and cost of transportation of your rifle to the range, range fees, and ammunition costs after rebuild. Your rifle is returned to you fully serviced, cleaned, lubricated, and targeted out to 100 or 200 yards with quality 30-06 ball ammunition. ( we calibrated your rear sight.) Individual Shop Services Barrel installations (Please send barrel, receiver, and bolt) Note: We will not work on any of the following non-USGI receivers or rifles. Lithgow, CAI, or Fed Ord. We also will gauge your receiver, receiver bridge, and bolt using original USGI gauges at no additional cost! + Correctly install and index your supplied used U.S.G.I. barrel on your receiver and check for correct-safe headspace. We will also gauge your supplied barrel for chamber depth, both throat erosion and muzzle wear, and diameter at gas port using original US Ordnance gauges. All these inspections and the barrel install for only $59.95! We know of no other quality shop that performs all these inspections for such a small price. + Correctly install and index your supplied new commercial standard contour barrel or brand new USGI barrel on your receiver and ream headspace. 99.95 + Supply and install/index a new commercial standard contour match grade barrel on your receiver. Currently we are using Criterion barrels ( division of Kreiger barrels ) 299.95 Sale! + Other barrel options and installations available, please inquire with your requirements. We also do inspections and work on M1 Carbines! Shipping instructions: ( please read entirely ) Please call or email us first to discuss your specific requirements and needs. We will then give you a shipping authorization number. We are federally licensed to receive firearms directly from our customers for repair. When finished, your rifle will be returned directly to you. When you ship the rifle, please email us the tracking number orionrigel@yahoo.com and we will contact you after we receive it and perform the initial inspection. Pack firearm or barreled action securely in appropriate cardboard box with plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, or suitable material. Especially protect the muzzle, op rod handle, and rear sights with additional padding. Include all your contact information ( address, phone number, email address ) in with your repair and exactly what services you want us to perform. Ship via UPS, FedEx, or the USPS. Middle Island, NY 11953 Upon receipt, your rifle will be initially inspected to make sure it is complete and arrived in good shape, logged into our repair book, and then a technical inspection will be performed on your rifle before any work is started. You will be contacted after the inspection is completed with a full evaluation of your rifle. One of our armorers will discuss with you our findings and make suggestions as to what needs to be done to get your rifle to the level of performance and aesthetics you require. Do not include payment in with your shipment for rifle packages. We will give you your total via email or phone after completion of the inspection and approx. 1 week before completion of your approved work. We accept personal checks, money orders, bank checks, and credit cards for payment. Barrel work alone with customer supplied barrels must include full payment with shipment in form of check or money order plus return shipping charges. Return shipping charges for long arm 35.00 Barreled actions 20.00 ( extra UPS remote area surcharge or AK or HI ) please inquire. Includes all insurance, shipping, and handling fees plus new shipping box if required. We use UPS or Priority Mail for AK and HI. Small parts replaced in packages taken in as core and retained by Orion.
